Ive spent a very long time perfecting these models to work in fpsc. I have added 6 buildings to this pack, that can easily be installed using an exe, with no fuss.

To view screenshots of them and to place an order, visit: http://www.league-of-lunatics.co.uk/fpsc/mp1.htm

The pack only costs $8, which is £4.58. People who buy the first pack will get a discount on the follow ups.

Enjoy!

lol Higgins the only way you can sell models and textures is if you make them yourself. you canot go to other websites download other ppls models and sell them. download milkshape or somthing to make your own models. www.milkshape3d.com

What is this the new craze? Selling other peoples free stuff? Jeez I've seen an awful lot of this lately.

Attitudes and Egos only destroy. Keep this forum friendly.

The first model is the same one that Psionic uses for his tutorial on skinning a building: Skinning Tutorial

This is starting to make me wonder if anyone has put together a for-pay pack with my free models. If you didn't create the media, then you can't use it without permission; it's that simple.

Do you want me to take the download down. Because Ive made them free to download, ive just converted them to .x for use in fpsc. They were free from turbo squid, yes, so i have taken away that stypid pay thing. Ill make my own from now on. Just let me know if you think i should take them down.

Nah don't take it down. I am sure the original autor intended to keep these free... And your helping the community by keeping them free... We all make mistakes but your earning up to yours so people I believe we should cut this guy some slack

Have you downloaded your CLiPs today.

Check in the license agreement of each model. I know I have a statement telling the user that they may NOT re-distribute my media without permission...which is what you are doing. However, they may not have that in their license agreement. For example, if you create a new skin for a model, you may distribute that (without the model attached to the file). It all just depends on how deep the license goes.

At least you've admitted your mistake. Most of the people that come on here to sell pirated media take off when they are discovered, never to be heard from again.

Really? They worked for me, strange. Have you tried them all? I used the 'dbconv.exe' to convert them from 3ds to .X. Ill look in to that.

They didnt have any license in the folders I got, not even a readme saying they made it, it had nothing.

Yeah, so ill look into the error thing, funny how they showed up in the game for me.

the problem is in the fpe file for each model
u have to change 2 lines.
model =entitiybank/blah/blah.x
to just model = blah.x
and the texture line,u dont need to have entitybank/blah ,if all the files are in the same folder
anyway they work ok if u changed these 2 lines....

Maybe this has happened because i have the demo, and the paths i had the min when i made the exe, stayed the same, so when they got installed, it was looking some where else..? I think ill upload a new exe that works, with the updated fpe files.

You know, I don't think I've seen this happen anywhere apart from these forums, yet it seems to happen every week here.

Not passing judgement or anything, just wondering what it is?

It's like an x file or something.

A good part of the people that do this, are making an honest mistake; and that's the last I'm going to speak of it here. Higgins, it looks like you're trying to do something good for the community and I appreciate it. When the license doesn't state the usability of a piece of media, you could also ask the author. Try asking Psionic, I'm sure he wouldn't mind you using them to help the community Psionic 3D. He may even help you with any problems you may have.

Again, I'm not judging you Higgins; you came foward with this, and that doesn't happen too often. Thanks for taking the time to help out the community.

Sure, the small houses that he has 3 different skins for (I believe there are just 3). Use the link I gave in a previous post about the "Skinning Tutorial" to see what I am talking about. You'd have to give us a screenshot (.JPG please) of everything you have that you want to convert for FPSCreator, so we can see what came from where.
