3 Dimensional Chat / blender help please

when i try to go into edit mode from object mode it will not let me. the model is the only thing in the scene so i dont have more than one thing selected. a screen shot is attached.

Hmm, is it the 'active' object? Try deselecting it and selecting it again. Are you sure you are pressing the right button? Its 'Tab' if you don't know. If none of that works post the .blend file so i can try it myself.

yes im very sure heres the .blend file it has done this more than once to me so im getting a little fustrated

I was right, the prob is it isn't the active object. Just right click it again so that the outline turns a brighter pink. You shoud be able to edit again.

yeah, from that screenshot you have the light selected, and not the object. I do it all the time

how on earth you do something with blender?
im trying to work with it for half a year and still i understand more of milkshape(what i started today) then from blender!!!!!!

its easyer.....

the menus are easyer...
and milkshape is sometimes very anoying but that si a side effect
