i`m making a game in fpsc , and i would like it to be free of any license fee`s if i want to sell it later, and you hafe to pay license fees if you use real guns models , so i want to use the guns from fpsc that arent reall guns , if you know what i want to say , so is the gun named :

"TAVOR"

a reall gun , or just "imagened" gun ?

And "vickers" ?

I suppose all sci-fi guns are imagened , but just hafe to check..

Er...I don't think you have to pay to use guns that are real. Plenty of games use things like M16s and such. And the Tavor and Vickers aren't real I believe.

I mean you cant use any of those "real life" gun models becouse they are registred pattern by their manufacturers and you hafe to pay to manufacturers if you want to sell the gun models in your game..

(what a shame...they were so good animated ... but i cant use them..(i`ll never be able to animate my gun models , sence i`m working in anim8tor...)

I gess everyone who uses fpsc creator should buy 3dsmax , so they can produce animated objects that works well... (how can i make them in freeware programs ? very hard...maby blender , but i dont know how to use blender , the only 1 cam on screen bothers me , i like programs with all 4 cams on screen , it helps me make better models , and not just unprecise , uncentered cubes and spheres...i am a modeling n00b though , i have been hanging around modeling (amateur) with freeware programs like anim8tor and jtedit for some time , but ..

I guess i`ll hafe to put unanimated guns and objects models ...

yeah its me

Well, I don´t know about the Tavor, but the Vickers is from WWII.

may god have mercy upon my enemies, I sure as hell won´t.

i dont think you will, the copyright (trademarks) on firearms is for using the design and the mechanical workings.since the digital model doesnt use any of these i dought it would be a problem....else everyone that makes bricks or concrete or girders will be sueing game makers.
if your really worried about it why not just give them a different name.
or email colt and ask them ( ask for freebies too).

the programmer formarly known as thicko.
