Yep, moving on the bigger and better things... gonna go onto WoW and get me my lvl 60. Yeah! See I think if I play 24/7 I'll be there before the end of this month. I plan to eventually have my soul uploaded to that server... yeah... See, life doesn't matter anymore... just gotta lvl so I can go back an twink my lvl 15 chars like the UberNoob I am... Then I can be an Uber Twinked PvP Killing Machine!!! I'll be unstopable!! Then I'll go pvp those untwinked noobs in contested territorys to show how good I am! Isn't that a totally leet idea?

But there is one serious setback to my plan... school... Gotta get rid of it somehow... And then there is this fourm... It seems to only take hours out of my possible lvling time. So you all have got to go.

Well cya!

nothing is going on, They will all be back eventually, but it gives opportunities for people to develope skills in FPSC instead of relying on people to do it for them.

@Merranvo- thanks for all the help and I guess we'll see ya on the flip side.

My theory,is either people are coming out of the closet and feel the need to quote Bon Jovi lyrics to the forum and so use the excuse of leaving. Or they think they could be the next Abba and use ChrisB's excuse of leaving.

Then there is Mega and I. Now, if WE claimed we where leaving? The mods would bid us a farewell and lock us out before we could make a ChrisB style comeback.

Antimatter games,

Thanks for the offer. I am having some difficulty with some AI scripting when it comes to destroying enemies - in some situations its difficult to find a best solution as the engine is limited in what it allows us to do in that area - control of enemies in terms of damage etc being less flexible to the users than any kind of damage to the player, which is much easier to control.

I am working with fairly complex AI now and its something that is not easy to get right due to some limitations - its complicated and this is not the right forum to get into specifics.

I will post any requests for specific help in the appropriate script forum if and when I am absolutely stuck - rather at the moment I am trying to find my own solutions. I dont want to be lazy and ask for too much help too often.

uman,

Don't know if you're a DB Pro owner, but if you are and you have the engine source you might want to check out the Artificial Intelligence Core section. It's a good read, lots of information, and changes you make there will result in faster execution than script. On the other hand, you're probably already aware of that...
