Ok, I currently have a gforce4 64mb graphics card. It runs FPSC great, On even large projects I'm getting 33fps, BUT, I can't use full shaders effects and I cant use full lightmapping. It simply refuses to do so because it's not supported. I have sitting next to me an unopened Stealth Diamond ATI Radion 9250 128mb video card. Is there any way to know if full lightmapping and shader fx as well as the .fx files will work in FPSC with this card?

JEEZ!You people just STFU! You waste more space complaining about people wasting space than the people your bashing! Man, I thought I had no life.

I think the videocard has to natively support directx 9, which neither of these cards do, unfortunately.

The problem is the hardware, not the drivers.

You might want to do some more homework, but this is how things stand as I understand them.

You could try the FX5200 from nvidia if you really cant afford to splash cash out. You can pick it up for around £30-40 depending where you look. It support's DX9 and some of its nice features.

I have an Nvidia XFX 5200 128mb card... and even that doesn't seem to like the `all-singing-all-dancing` options of FPSC ... but I guess in computer terms even the XFX is getting past it's sell-by date :-(
