Hey! Its me and I'm back. I used to lurk around the old DB forums before dbp came out, and I got DBP now so I decided to join these forums too. Anyway I have two issues:

Number one, is there a page where we can download old patches? Patch 3.1 dosent have everything that patch 1 and 2 had. (such as closing help with the escape key, a REALLY helpfull change) So I'm looking for those.

Number two, a problem that has recently presented itself is that when I run any DBP program, no matter if I made it or downloaded it, the taskbar thing pops up as if it started, but nothing shows on the screen. Then the taskbar button goes away. The program just starts them stops. No matter the program. I havent changed anything since it last worked, it just one time stopped working. Can anyone help?

3.1 has ALL fixes present in 1 and 2 - the issue you state is an IDE one and thus isn't covered by the patches anyway - for upgrades to that see www.realgametools.com and click the downloads link.

The taskbar thing is the program initalising, unpacking the DLLs etc and is unavoidable at present.

Cheers,

Rich

Yes, I know it is unpacking everything and getting ready to run. But the problem is, thats where it stops. The program just shuts down right after that point not going any farther.

Oh, and thanks for the reminder about realgametools. I forgot the IDE updates werent covered

*bump*
Cant anyone help? I really want to be able to run DBP programs, and even program in dbp. But the programs wont run. I have the most up to date drivers for my video card (ATI Mobility U1). Although i do have Direct X 9, could that be causing it? It worked before though with DX9. Just out of the blue it stopped working.

If it just stops working, then it must be a graphic driver/DX problem on your machine...

Indeed - try re-installing. Sounds like a corrupted file.

Do you have problems just opening the DBPro editor? I get the splash screen, and then the program quits. After that happens, nothing made in DB (actually nothing 3-D at all) works on my computer.

And I have to reinstall Windows, and my Video Drivers to get things working again.....-Sigh-

Not at all. Windows files get corrupted, ergo you need to re-install.

Yeah that sucks monkey balls. I rolled back my system and that didnt help before I reformatted. Any clue what could have cause it to all of a sudden stop working? I want to avoid doing that again.
