Hey everyone
I've finally done it! I got a freeware modeler called Anim8or (VERY cheesy) and modeled a simple temple!
I'ts very ugly in FPSC... or anywhere for the matter. The texture stinks... But hey, it's my first (Probably my last too )

Welp, you can use this anyway you want, even if you sell it. Just don't claim you made the model, or the texture. Even if you sell it, I doubt anyone will buy it
A screeny is attached. Keith, if your reading this, don't look at that screenshot J/K

EDIT: For thoe of you that thought I already was a modeler because I made some tree modelers, I'll clear my name now, Treemagik (the progrma I used to make the trees) is not really a modeling program, yes it makes models, but all you really do is specify perameters. You don't have to go through all the hard work that real modelers do. So basicly, Treemagik is a easy, and cheap way of making trees. I'm not saying it dosn't do a good job, it does a fabulous job, it just dosn't make you a real modeler

When FPSC develops enough, lets make a Redwall game!

And here's the model and .FPE file, along with the texture. You can place it in any FPSC entity folder, altogether, and it will work.
The .FPE file and thumbnail was made with the entity creator whiich was made by TGC
But don't think I don't know anything about making my own .FPE files

Me? Model Pack?! NOOO! I'm not there yet, nor will I be fore some time

I thought someone else made a temple! It's what made me decide to make mine Oh well. Useing Anim8or, you can really only place primatives, so you can't really model. Maybe I'll learn how to use Game Space Light. It's been sitting on my desktop for months.

And as for textures, I terrible at those. I can take digital pics though. And I live by a lot of woods, so I can get plenty of stuff. I already have a texture pack with about, like, 95 textures. I'm just waiting for DUDE to make them seamless for me. But, I think he forgot. He hasn't been here for months

I'm using anim8or for modelling a lot of stuff for a upcoming MMORPG i'm working in, for an indie company. I'm not the lead modeler, I model items(all kinds of items) and furniture, mostly. It's very good for low poly models(and not only that, it can suit almost every need!). An HINT(lol): to texture in anim8or you want to do it selecting the faces and not all the model: First select "settings" from the menu then "components" then "texture uv", then "apply interactively", and mess around with it to understand how it works!

For everyone that models with Anim8or, I stand correct, I didn't know of it's power Maybe I'll stick with it after all. Does anyone know of some good tutorial links?

That's a good start; it's more than I could do when I first started. Good work, keep us posted on your progress.

Oh no, my eyes!

Sunflash, I used to model like that . That was back in 2001, when I made stuff for the family site, cybertown. Its been 5 years since then, and I still need to perfect my work . Just keep on modelling, and one day, you will produce some good stuff.

Sunflash go to www.anim8or.org and then follow the links. You'll get a great start there!

I use anim8or too!

I'm also called Avenging Eagle on anim8or.org, plus the cut-scenes for my paratrooper game are being made in anim8or. Check it out in the "Blanc Point: a Paratrooper Story" thread, the link isn't dead yet i don't think.

Silver Draquinsty, Iam not trying to stop him from modelling, I just said I used to model like that, and in time, you can create some good stuff. Didnt mean for it to sound like I want him to stop modelling.

He should carry on, and keep making things.
