This is a low poly car im working on. Its not based on a real car, just something I made up as I went. I just finished unwrapping it and now I have to texture it. Right now it is just over 1000 polys, as soon as I add the other 3 wheels it should be 1 to 200 more.

Tell me what you think so far.

Very smooth. Just wondering. You have an extrusion for the tire rims. Why not do the same for the windows?

Just trying to save polys lol. I was thinking that the tire rims were more important than the windows.
Might as well add a little progress:

Ok I changed the tires to be lower poly as it was gonna be almost 2k polys

The final has 950 faces, and 1800 triangles.

I will post a download for it tomorrow.

Here is the model!
I wasn't really sure how people wanted the wheels so in blender i left them as seperate objects and exported the scene. Unfortunately this made the wheels appear above the car in dark basic so im not sure what i was supposed to do.
Please tell me how you are supposed to do it so I can export it right.

Here is a wire too:

Three wheels with just one polygon! Should be interesting.

Nice, it's coming good except...do you plan to make the door in the texture or give it more dimension by doing it in the model as well? And I'm guessing no interior either, since it's obviously intended to stay low poly. But it looks great!

Nice shape, good polycount, good job. Maybe add a shader to it in DBP for a nice metallic surface and you're all set. You could probably add more detail to the texture though.

Thanks, Im gonna leave the door as a texture, otherwise it would be too hi poly I think. I agree the texture definately needs more detail, and i just noticed I don't have handles on the doors so I will add those.

I am not using dbp anymore cuz im trying to elimate any need of a windows computer, so I won't be able to add a dbp shader to it.

Lol, thanks
Im gonna have to put this on hold whil I work on the computer contest, and can someone tell me please how most car models are exported concerning the wheels? Or is it supposed to have wheel spin animation?
