What program(s) did you use to make that conker video that came with FPSC?

im 99.9% sure they used max...

simon said that max was his favorite and best in his opinion, and him doing the animations and media for FPSC, its a pretty safe assumption.

depends on how much you want to spend.
Look around on google, like this: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=3ds+max+8&btnG=Search

Oh, definitley. If I buy it, I will remember it. For exactly 1 month I pay for it, then at least 11 more months after that i'll use it. But, I am slightly experienced with Maya, so I will probably get that instead.

mmmmmm, i'd go with MAX. i breefely looked into Maya, it looked ok, but not for FPSC. if i recal it was almost impossible to export to direct x with animations, and the biped for MAX is allready released. plus, pandasoft exporter is a shinch!

MAYA is way more- halo

max is for more indie stuff, as well as a few commercial titles.

if your basing your purchase on FPSC, go with max,

if your basing it on a carrer in game design, i think MAYA is a better choice, althoug a lot of design schools teach max.

so how do you export with maya to fpsc? caus maya is the best. and im definatly going to get it. how do you export it to fpsc? is there any way? please tell

but if you have to buy max go with lightwave instead. its half as cheap but i cant find anything in max that makes it worth 1500$ more than lightwave. they basically have the same features though there are some things you have to get used to with lightwave.

My game is arcade-style, so I guess I'll go with max, I'm downloading the trial as I'm typing this.
