Can anyone suggest ways or plugins/programs that work/export to or to make hair for gamespace objects? Cheers.

I made a very basic low poly hair modelling tutorial that will apply to most programs, it was made in Cinema 4D, but you can apply to game space, the missing part of the tutorial would be the texturing and the 'alpha' mapping, the alpha mapping part would make it look like real hair

I don't think they exist for gamespace or truespace, heck Cinema 4D has only just got good hair support, however, you can ahieve good looking hair using plains, textures and alpha maps, maybe one day I'll make a tutorial on that technique, just need to learn how to do it successfully myself first

FYI. The strand for straqnd are kinda like rederable splines so id bet a lot they wont work in dark basic. but you can make hair just as good as long as it stays motionless with alpha maps. You can even use seppuku's tutorial and texture the hair with an alpha mapped image to give the illusion of many hair strands. (this is the method used in games today hands down.)
