Of all contests... Does it have to be realistic?

Well it would be nice, but I don't think DC said if it had to be realistic, just best looking is all, so no it doesn't have to be realistic

the coolest design, doesnt have to be practical or anything and votes should be judged on the coolness of the design in the voters opinion. so im sure anyone can make some cool designs of cases, look at existing case manufacturers for ideas.

Aren't all Computer Cases pretty much just a box?

Well theres not much to say about this WIP at the moment, personally as a 3D modeller I would say it would need more detail before posting it, because its had to comment or criticise at this point

Yes, how silly of me.
You never said it had to be a Personal Computer.
Why didn't I think Super Computer in a SpaceShip?

Personally I would say a personal computer would be more convenient, but if a super computer is exactly what you want to model go ahead, but my advice would be to take the chances of modelling a personal computer case

@ Conjured:
I think you misunderstand. The contest isn't making a case you would find on the shelves, it is designing an original case which looks cool. So a beige box wouldn't be something people would vote for most likely.

Just imagine taking all the wires and junk out of your box, and piling them into somethng that you made.

Hey long time no see! Seppuku i think im gonna join this one. Can you make like the moniter and stuff or is it just the CPU? becuase i think it would be cool to go all out and make a full pc. You know me. im gonna do it weather u say yes or no The moniter would pretty much just add to the feel of the design.

Nice entries guys, very tribal big add

@DS, kewl, mice to see your entering, I think the last time I spoke to you was when I mistook you for Dark Coder on MSN lol

@Both Ooga and DS, you can do the moniter if you want, but the votes will be on the computer case, so any additions will be for self satification and not scoring extra votes.

@Heckno, shame to see you miss out on a contest, well it happens, I've only actually entered one myself, I might try to enter this one, but I gotta work on my English and Psychology A level stuff this weekend, tidy my room and go to the gym lol.

Hey dudes, can't see the WIPs because I am on a school PC where image websites are blocked, I haven't been online for a couple of day because my freaking GFX card got dislodged, and now its being sorted

[edit] nice update DS
@The Crazy, interesting, just can make it out, very square, try smoothing it off a bit,

@RPGamer, yes...

Oh and yey my PC is sorted, the GFX card wasn't only dislodged, but also the screw fell out and was incredibly lucky it didn't hit any circuits otherwise as soon as I wouldda turn it on, bye bye PC

Okay then, the Pirate is too young to have a beard and isn't clumsy enough to lose an eye.

Yeah I seen the post dude, early postings is always best

And here's a concept of my bread-box case I was actually planning to build some day.
