FPSmods.co.nr is launched!


for a while now i have been building up free resources (completely made by me and wheelgator) to give the community.

i was going to wait for my entity maker program to go out of BETA, but i left the URL in the license by accident .

anyway, FPSMods is a site completely dedicated to creating free or low cost resources for you guys, mad 100% for you guys.

we have a LOT of stuff to still put up, but for now, there is a horror zombie pack there, i also posted the milkshape skeleton and the charecter mods i did a while back.

we have some segments, tunnels, entitys, a whole bunch of stuff that we will be posting soon, so keep an eye on it.

Bullshox, why don't you compile a scripting vers of FPSC-Game.exe?
That way we can have the long awaited OnKey= and addhealth= (for enemys)...



and some other stuff you need... but atleast we won't need to have the GD enterkey be our only key... (I don't know if you can have string input, that is why it is using the scancodes.)


FYI: FpscUniverse is completly dead... I hate updating, people hate comming... It works out.

I have been... doing stuff... I don't have MSN, and I keep forgetting to install it. Never mind that, I keep reinstalling windows trying to get something to work... And I am tired of trying.

well like i said, just the charecters are in there now, we have about half of a genera of stuff though (just like the scifi and WW2, we have HORROR stuff) with doors, rooms, corridors, entitys, gravestones, signs, lifts...

pretty much everything, but we have to work out some issues etc...

but 90% of the stuff on that site will be free, made specifically for FPSC users...but i nee to make SOME money one the side

i see how the jetpack will work with humans, but can you get a bot or nonplayablecharacter to use it too? and when you created a level in fpsc, what do the bots do? do they just stand there like jerks, and wait till some1 gets within firing range, or is there some inbuilt navigation system in fpsc?

BS, it isn't that big... infact much of what you need is already in the script... but how do you decide if the guy should go up or down?

hey bullshock...downloaded the horror pack from your site.
and a great site it is.
unzipped files in the game creators folder.
but they are not sahowing up, any ideas as to what im doing wrong?

You have to extract them in the entitybank folder.

still having problems getting the models into the game.
download and unzip in entity bank but they dont show up
when i start fpsc.
any suggestions on what im doing wrong?
also i tried to download the other model pack and same
thing. i can find the folders in the entity bank folder,
but there not in when i run the program.

ok, try this:

unzip it to your desktop, then opey your fpsc directory, click on files.

now look at the two ofolders side by side(your unziped files and FPSC Files).

you will notice that both folders have an entity bank folder, click on that on both windows. basically use the unzipped files as a path structure. then they will work perfectly.

hope you understand, its kindof hard to explain if youve never done it before.

bullshock...nice work,but the horror charactors appear only as black figures...the scripts and charactor animation works great but just no texture,what have i done wrong...cheers

tpfkat, try replaceing the files with a fresh version, that may fix it, and make sure they are in the same folder.

other than that, i really cant helpyou, it works for me, and seems to work for everyone else.

ive been working on my entity maker a lot lately (ECS) so i havent had a lot of time to work on the segments and entitys pack, but you guys will get it soon.

models. great work indeed.
the problem i have now is i cant get them to move in game.
i tryed to change the main a i scripts but they still just stand there.
any help as to what im doing wrong?

the Charecter creation suite will take a lot more work and may not be done for a while. there may also be complications and our ideas may not even be possible(that would suck) so i cant tell you exactly what it will be or when it will be out.

but for now, heres how it will work:

it will come with stock media of 8-10 charecters as base models
(in the package there will also be a Charecter ID maker, so you can import your own charecters or use the fpsc ones as base models)

you will open a base model to start, then there are a lot off addons included as well.

these are items such as hats, helmets, armor, shoes, pads, etc.

you can add these item to the charecter, change theire position, change thire texture and everything.

there will also be color coded uv maps included with every model for custimization.

you can also change pants texture, face texture, shirt texture, etc.

let me see if i can find that old screen shot of a HALO helmet on an AI....

Bullshox, you do know that eventually you will do so much work that everone else will cry to you for an FPSC Update... and when that happens... points over yonder.


Besides... what ever happened to Project Exodus... a Lifetime in the making... to be released... Summer 2006 (8,10,50,never)

Merranvo,

well at first was having problem getting the models to
show up when i opened up fpsc. i downloaded in the game creators
file, which bullshock let me know i was to download in the entity
file. so i downloaded again put them in entity file.
still did not work. so then i did what he said to do and unzipped it to my desk top and went from there. which did work, i got them in game just cant move. i tryed using the script that came with them. when that didnt work i tryed using the scripts that came with
fpsc, but none have worked as yet..
im thinking i might have to delete the mod files and try to download again.
but im afraid i may delete the wrong files and screw up even worse.
when i move the folders into the fpsc entity folder do i put all
the mod folders in the same folder?
are do i put the script folder that comes with the new models
in the script folder that is already there?

hope i havent confused you more, as i have said im not really
a computer person just like to make games as a hobby.

Merranvo,

well i finally got them into the game. i had to unzip the horror pack onto the desktop how bullshock told me to do.
and then put them into the entity folder.

i have tried to use the scripts that came with the models and when that didnt work i used the scripts from fpsc.

none have worked as of yet. i think im going to have to delete the mod files and try again.

when i put them into the entity file for fpsc do i put all the files that come with the mods into the same folder or do i put the scripts folder into the scripts folder of the fpsc?

hope i havent confused you but im not really a computer person just like to make games for hobby.

Bullshock, there's a small error in the Horror pack character .fpe files - the aimain points to 'FPS_mods\zombie.fpi' when it should point to FPS_mods\zombie_files\zombie.fpi

This is why the characters are just standing there, not attacking. I'm guessing perhaps you added a new folder after testing?

side note: as soon as i get ECS PRO out and released, i will work on getting that entities expansion out to you guys. it goes with the horror pack, so its kindof cool
