No.

FPSC can only recognise .X files and the .FPE and .FPI scripts for the model to work in FPSC.

then how do i even import my 3d models? which other programs would you reccommend? (apart from milkshape!)

Hi,

If you are using 3D Studio Max for modelling , open 3D max and click on File - Import and select your .3ds mesh. You first need to install the panda .x exporter http://www.andytather.co.uk/Panda/directxmax_downloads.aspx

If you are not using 3D Max , 3D Object Converter http://web.t-online.hu/karpo/ will save the .3ds to the required .x file.
