Does anyone know where I can find free sound effects, like just random cartoon bounces and boings and wobbles, as I'm finding it hard to get the right ones for my retro game (puzzle bobble) and I'm running out of time.
Why the hell'd you ask me for crying out loud!?!

Free music or royalty free music, BIG differance.

Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man?
Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of samishi?

Ya, royalty free preferably. I looked on your site TAToad and they're really good and professionally done, but not quite right for my game. Thanks anyway.

well if you don't mind something too complex to use, definitely not for the amateur then 'jeskola buzz' is great for sfx 'cos you can add plugins to it which emulate most things, I like for instance the speccy2 plugin 'cos it makes all sorts of retro triangle wave sounds like on the spectrum.

I generally think of a filename for what I want and search for it on altavista...

boing.wav

I've found all sorts of free to use resources in this way
