i make this 3d file browser in dark basic (not pro).. please considere the desing like a model.. they no use any models, only textures and box and spheres.. but they can skined and use your own .x models .. only chage variables skin=0 for skin=1
i hope you like it...

thankz men...
i write many programs (M A N Y) and my idea is make a 3d desktop shell, i have one working.. (desktop, nav, taskbar, skinned, etc...)

But i like make 3D.. but apart the design, i need some vars$ (like programfile folders), and most hard is make a TASKBAR (runnig process etc..)

it looks very cool, however kinda useless as it will never be as fast as the windows one and takes up more cpu :p,

but i think it would be awsome as a screensaver, so the cursor thing flys around to random files and displays there filename and things.

I find it quite difficult to control your self. Maybe if you put boundries on how far away you can be from you files might help. And maybe making a stop button.

Yep i now see that.. in my old crap pc, camera mov slow, but in a pIII o PIII mov hig speed.
you can fix tha wit this single line.

if inkey$()="x" then cmz#=0

tehy stop the camera when you press x key.

There are the compiled version.. i like your opinion abaut folder desing.. now i limit to a box and spheres... i put the opcion to use skins in the browser (diferents model, colors, images etc..)
