There are a lot of people complaining about this glorious softwares benefits. Game creation takes time, effort, planning, and creativity. Rome was not built in a day, and WWII did not end in a week.

Tons of creators on here are mistaking what kind of game THEY want to create, rather then what kind of game OTHERS want to play. A great game doesn't NEED multi-player, as far as frame-rate goes, you dont need a thousand enemies, crates, tanks, barrels and boxes to make a great game. All it needs is a good story. Puzzles within levels, emotional intensity, and artistic composition to make the gamer play on is what is important. Be the game. See the game. Feel the game. Dont create what YOU want to create, but create as if you were selling something, and make it the best of the best.

i think people are complaining about the problems with a certain peice of software.....you assume your the only one that knows what goes into writing a game...or even a peice of software.
maybe do some research first about what the complaints are actually about then give a speech.

TPFkat he is right to many people complain about what this software can not do. And while they are right they are still just beating a dead horse. I have had problems and I have overcome them but I wouldn;t say this software sucks. If people want to get AAA games made go put in an app at ID or ravensoft.

yeah...but this guys going on about how to create a top selling game.
most people arent actually complaining about what it can do,they complain about what its supposed to do ( advertised) but is let down by bugs n stuff.
i wouldnt say fpsc sucks...but it needs attention.thedude just goes on about what he thinks it takes to make a selling game,i bought it to prototype my ideas, but the finished version didnt contain ladders and had a few bugs...being a fully paying owner i thought i had a right to voice my opinion.just like all other paying users/owners do.
for someone to come on here with this thread, was ....well pathetic really, what was the point...does it address the problems...no.
does it actually help in any way...no.
no dought thedude thinks hes head of a company and this is the managment speech.

"most people arent actually complaining about what it can do"

I AM talking about the people complaining about what it can do.

"yeah...but this guys going on about how to create a top selling game"

Heck yes I am.

"for someone to come on here with this thread, was ....well pathetic really, what was the point...does it address the problems...no.
does it actually help in any way...no. "

This thread wasn't directed to exactly help anybody with a PARTICULAR problem. It's more of an insightful thread TO create a game.

"no dought thedude thinks hes head of a company "

Heck yes I am. Gosh...Idiots!

LOL... I just wish I could play a single room MP game.. perhaps it is my PC but I'd love some help figuring it out so I could then post a valid opinion about this software.

Looks good.. but when I cannot even create a single MP arena room.. I get leary.. Oh well.

This is the best software you can get for the amount of cash you have to shell out and it is the only point-and-click fps maker out there as far as I know.I like it!
