Hey TGC fans,

Heres my latest Caveman Model, its my first go at making something similar to humans (a cartoon human) Took me a week, but I still am looking for someone to animate him, but anyways, what do you think ?

id say realistically its probably about a 4 for a cartoony game. Its pretty good for your first try though, keep at it and do some tutorials that show you how to mold a human and keep detail and such.

i agree with Ooga, youre going to have a hard time putting such a high-poly model into a game. its very good for a first on humanoids though! (when i remember myfirst attempts lol ) it looks like you did that with making spheres and cylinders right? try to put down the detail level of those next time, itll keep your model in an efficient poly count. again: nice job tho; i like the eyes!

Thanks, its not exactly shapes only, it took me a week when it could have took me a day for modifying the shapes.

I loved that game, ever heard of Croc 2 ?

as you might have guessed, I found starting a head with an octoad pretty simple. Psionic's tutorial for making zombies in ms3d is pretty challenging as he isnt so specific. Hes 1624 faces and a total of 14 objects (please notice the thumb on his left hand as i worked on that for 5 minutes !!)
