I like the look of 3dworldstudio. I was wondering, could I use this program with out knowing any programming language at all, and build a game with it?

Why you didin't posted in the 3DWS forum?
And also, 3DWS is a map editor, not a 3D engine. It's for use in DBPro, and also Torque and Blitz.

What Skalex said
3D world is a pretty nice tool though, already preparing to buy it becuase i was so impressed by its speed and how much easier i find it for architecture etc.

Oh and
3D world Studio can't make games, however Quikly Game Studio can, made in DBP by Kangaroo Beta 2, maybe you want that instead

I bought 3DWS a bit ago. It's quite a nice modeling/level creation program. But, like Skalex said, it's not a game engine. I use it to create building meshes, then export them for editing and mapping (I like to do my own unwrapping and mapping). I'm using it for the next Model of the Month (since it looks pretty obvious that it's gonna be a building; unless something else catches up, then it'll be 2 Models of the Month )

100$? I thought it was 120$ for those who didn't own CShop 4? I got it for 100$ though, and I am very satisfied. It's the best level editor/creator I've ever used. And the faster lightmapper, terrain, and file formats(.dbo!) makes it 100% more worth than CShop.

I create my maps in 3DWS, and it's professional-looking.
I love 3DWS.

It's $120 for the full "Builder Edition" (which is what I bought), without upgrading from CShop4.

I upgraded from CShop 4 to 3DWS Builder Edition, cost me 90$ or 100$, i don't remember. 3DWS was in Early Adopter stage, but it's the same price now.

It comes with a CD with a collection of meshes and textures.

Can't, jobless, the only money I am getting I am getting back from the tax office because they shouldn't have charged me. Ed's boss said they'll have vacancies after Easter, so I'll take up the job, good pay, something like £300 a month

Sweet, looks like a pretty sweet game, can't wait until you upload a demo onto your site

I agree, I orignally used it, then tried GMan's code but last I heard it has probs with U59, so I'm just letting sett see to code . But if you are using U58 or lower I would use GMAN's code is powerful stuff, but isn't dbo happy when I tried it.

Try using DeleD(http://www.delgine.com), you can download DeleD Lite for free and use it royalty free in your creations and it's extremely easy to use, give it a try.

I am always wondering, seeing all these expensive programs advertised on the site, that it seems almost a rip-off. I have no means to disrespect these products, becuase they look like they do their job real well. Couldn't you purchase just a full 3d software package, and produce anything and everything that all these products can do for cheaper? Now, 3ds Max, and Maya are really steep in price, but look at Lightwave or even Blender (throught time you get your moneys worth). But now that I see it, all these products are aimed at the programmer oriented to make things most easy.

actually the expensive apps are aimed towards modelers and the programmers stick with their job.

EDIT: unless you excel in both and have the money to afford both hobbies.

God modelled man in his own reference image.
