The functions to load 3DMapEditor's map under DBPro are now ready for use.

They will be available on next 3DMapEditor release that will coming soon .

There are also some new commands in editor ( like Terrain Matrx , copy matrix , and more . . . )

There are also some optimisations and simplifications for Maps usage under DBv1 and DBPro . and new functions to make Maps loads better looking . . .

Coming soon . . .

Yes.
I've modified my 3DMapEditor's function to work 100% with DBPro !

I have some minors modifications to do ( cos of small DBv1 Vs DBPro differencies ) But now It is possible to load a 3DMapEditor's map under DBPro

You will ned Patch 4 for DBPro . . . Then It will probably be released on the same time than DBPro's patch 4

Hi freddix

I still havn;t found out exactly how to do the functions to load a 3d map into db. (original).
I have copied the files to my own folder, but what part of the code do I need to modify on the 'usage_skeleton' file?

The Usage_skeleton.dba show what is needed in your source code.

There are these important parts in the file :
- variables definition ( Dim . . . xxx=... )
- Map load and initialization
- function to actualize zones and skybox ( inside your main game loop )
- free all map's medias

I'll make a more complete .html doc on how to setup a 3DMapEditor's map in DBv1 and in DBPro too for 2.32 release.
