Newcomers DBPro Corner / collision / object animation??

i am making an fps and i have done collision, but as soon as i run the game the german does its dying animation, without me shooting it.

Your code is really messy learn to indent it. You're checking if object collision (5,6)= and then immediately giving a solutuon statement, Im surprised you're not getting an error for this, try adding a 1 before the then statement, like so:



Still cant believe DB allowed that, I guess it assumes that when no parameters are given for the = operator is sets it to 0, which is why your character was dying automatically as it was checking if the object WASNT colliding with the bullet.

ok my collision code is now

but when i shoot the german it doesnt play the dying animation, it just stays there.
is it my bullet

or shooting?

i changed it, to a : but it is still the same, the german does not doing the dying animation
