save a second copy of the model:
enable animation mode
Disable "Operate On Selected Joints Only"
Select First Keyframe you want to "loop"
Select all joints with the select tool (not selecting the root joint in the joints tab)
Select Animate > Copy Keyframe
Select Keyframe 1
Select Animate > Paste Keyframe
Select Last Keyframe you want to "loop"
Select all joints with the select tool (not selecting the root joint in the joints tab)
Select Animate > Copy Keyframe
Select Keyframe X (keeping the gap the same as it was before the move - so frames 30 - 55 would now be 1 to 24)
Select Animate > Paste Keyframe
Any keyframes that have been set in between also need to be moved...
Set the total number of frames to 24... (In this case)

it will - that's why you save a second copy of the model, when you complete your testing, you revert to your older save...

If you can export just the specified frames. Then export and use a simple viewer, like mview or user made ones you can find on the forums.
