Ok, hold up. Now I have ran into this problem before. Make sure you have ALL the files you need on the CD. So wereever you saved your "build game" files just burn them right to the CD. This Should work. A good way to know if you have all the files, is that a normal CD can only hold a hand full of levels. That is why I use DVD. Hope this helps.

There is a program called FPSCPack lite available that will solve that problem for you. It's free and very useful. If you search the FPSC Forums you will find out where to download it.I recommend it.

It's called the Bugs forum. Try that one next time when you have a problem like this.

Didnt someone say there was problem with burning the games to cd? Like the levels would get corrupted or something? Apparently you have to zip the game first before burning it to cd.

This is what I remember reading somewhere on this forum. May not be correct info.

I tried the bugs forum; it seems TGC is more interested in taking care of DB problems, than FPSC problems.

Use an installer, like FPSCPack or Install creator, it buils one exe file for you and you can burn to disc no worries.

@ KeithC : Doesn't it make sense for TGC to sort out the bugs in DBPro and then maybe rebuild FPSC based on that, as it was developed with DBPro right? I could be wrong there I guess.

Yes, there is... FPSC needs to extract files while running, and it does so in the directory it is in.

If you burn to disk, it can't exctract.

Just make sure you create an exe, then it can install to any PC and run from there. That's how you should do it anyway, unless you want to share you're files.

If it is an extraction issue, copying the contents of the CD to a folder on the hard drive and running it from there should solve the problem.
