Ok, i would firstly like to say that i started a new thread so that people wouldent think that i was just bumping the old one.

secondly, E.C.S. Pro Version 1.1 released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whats new?

FEATURES ADDED:

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Automatic Conversion
This Item in the Settings menu was added in Version 1.1 for all of those who want to sell packs that are created with E.C.S. PRO. The “Automatic Conversion” item is either checked on or off. When it is checked, it automatically converts your loaded model into the DBO format, which FPSC reads extremely quickly. When it isn’t checked, it will copy your model along with the FPE when making the entity. NOTE: if you are using any other type of model besides DirectX file format, make sure you keep this checked.

FPE Comments
The item “FPE Comments” is a very simple item. When his item is clicked, it brings up a comment window. After you check the :Enable” Checkbox, you can add comments, and they will be added to the end of your FPE when exported.

Signs Checkbox
Very simple. If this is checked, your entity will be a sign. The entity should be placed in the center of the platform and the height should be about 50. NOTE: when your entity is a sign, the “collision Mode” property will not export. This is because it causes MAJOR issues, If your entity even works. So for that reason, it will not export.

Height Property
This property is only available to use when the “Sign” Checkbox is checked in the “Optional “ tab. Basically it adds to a models “Offset” Y value. It is for signs, basically, signs with an offset of 0 have to have a height of 50, so it will be high on the wall. You can change the value to make lower or higher signs.

Mouse Movement
You can now move about the 3D window by clicking and holding the left mouse button and moving it. you can also zoom in and out with the mouse wheel.

Rearanging
In the settings tab, i swapped the positions of the model texture and description with the AI scripts for better workflow.

Open at folders
The scripts as well as all other browse buttons will now open up to theire specfic directorys when clicked.
BUGS FIXED:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Settings.ini Bug
Apparently, the settings.ini file was saving to random places in the FPSC directory, Sorry for the inconveniance, it's fixed now.

Other File formats
I feel really stupid on this one. I forgot to include the .3DS, .MDL, .MD2, and .MD3 DLL's with the program. they are included now.

I dont have my updates page up yet, but everyone that has purchased E.C.S. pro should have received an email with download detaials.

From now on, whover buys E.C.S. Pro, will get 1.1, no need to download then upgrade.

[edit]

just realized, its a super update in under a week from release date!

[2nd edit]

get it from

Excellent work, an update in a week, now that is customer service.

Haven't had an email yet though (purchased last Sat) if you can look into that that'd be great.

Cheers, Rich.

Edit: Bullshock - Received your email, thanks for clearing this up for me.

I'm pretty much finished with weapon creator, but it looks like code master has resumed his progress so...

as for charecter maker, that will shortly follow the release of Weapon Creation System(W.C.S is what it will be called - ironic i know)

anyway, i have to finish a bit of code, and make the manual and it will be released.

Yeah, but thing well of yourself. CB could probally get away with selling his upgrade at that price. You should atleast know that people will probally buy that high... If they had use, probally at the low end of 5-6 will get the most sales.

P.S. Even though Entity Creation System was allways featured in my FAQ, Your web for these is now featured as a 'Hit Feature' more as, something alot of people probally will flock to. Currently, that is gonna fill up with model packs, but still. ;0

Only question is how to get people to start reading the FAQ. Almost all the views are from me.

like i said im not worried about the money, i do it cause its fun to me, and the community can use it.

the money goes back into the community thru model packs and stuff anyway.

i had about 25 sales with E.C.S. pro, that was WAY more than i expected. i guess that shows the theory of marketting.

some say less sales but bigger price is the way to go, i say more sales lower price. it tends to work.

im also thinking about expanding my programs to have a blitz, torqe and dbpro export as well

Merravano is right. You are good.ECS Pro has saved me more time than I can possibly believe.
It is hard to believe that only 25 people bought such a useful and much-needed product, especially at the low,low price you are asking.
Keep up the good work.I am a customer for life.

Well, you could go for $5 for each creator system; then give a discount for all 3 at $10.

Finaly..Bullshock I can say, Nice very nice. You have earned our respect. Your ECS Pro is getting the most kick ass reviews over
here and it's betting out most of the shareware trash I've delt
with in a month. So can I send this payment via Western Union
cuz that the only way I can at the moment. Cash, Money Order?

also, im implementing a quick weapon option with pre set settings for certain types of weapons, but that wont probbably be finished untill after V1.

hi;

i've been trying (every day) for 2 weeks now to check out your site, but it's to no avail. (i'm using your forum-thread link icon)

the main page loads, but nothing else will, it just stalls and times out.

i'm running high-speed and have absolutely no problems with 'any' other sites, so i have drawn the conclusion that the problem lies with your site itself.

i'd like to check out the information on your E.C.S. utility - it 'sounds' like it would be a very useful tool to have.

please advise
