No problem. It is nice to hear when a pack has made someone happy. Though you would figure that a free pack would get at the minimum a thank you from people who download it. (not meant for the people who have said thanks)

3 out of 80 something people, that is a shame.

There pretty cool and they work OK, but some of them do have a number of oddities. Some of the hill have huge gaps in them, whick looks kind of strange when walking around them. It's ok, but not the result I was looking for. Thanks for releasing these for us to have a look at though. At least I can spent the money for 3D World Studio on something else.

I used etremely small terrain maps for the hills that is why there is small gaps. I think I will release another pack with better hills.

Benjamin A- In the zip or rar folder there is a readme file that explains how to set them up in game play. I just loaded all of them in to a map to see if they worked and I got no gaps. try using the page up and down keeys to adjust the height of them. send me a screen shot of what you are talking about. also I have started working on some more hills. i think I may start on an actual trench system. I will keep everyone posted.

*has anyopne figured out how to get multi textured buildings in FPSC from an outside program?

Multi - textured anything from external source: You need a one piece skin containing all the textures for your model

1. Apply various textures to a models polygons/faces using a modeller that supports it.

2. Get them to fit correctly setting up UV mapping.

3. Export your model from the prog with textures and UV mapping applied - that will ensure that the UV mapping info is embedded in the model.

4. If necessary and one modelling prog does not support the exporting of a one piece skin for a model then you have no other option than to find one that does to get the skin.

Some here I have heard use Unwrap I believe - though I dont have that prog.

Whatever - one way or another you need to get correct UV mapping and one piece skins for all such models.

Some I have heard also say that FPSC can handle more than one texture - again I dont do it that way if indeed it works.

KeithC do you know how to get multiple textures in to the engine then? how do I take a building that I have made (3D World Studio) with multiple textures to swap over for FPSC use while retaining all the textures?

FPSC doesn't support multiple textures. It supports 2 textures per model, but it shows only one of them at at a time. The other one is an alternative texture you can call for in a script.

You need to follow uman's directions to 'fake' multiple textures.

no a problem man, glad you liked 'em. I am busy working on a huge structure for my game I am posting screenies of it under my game dev started thread. 3d world studio is the heat. yes I know I will have to add each box and light with FPSC and I can only import a single texture but it's all I good I'll make it look right.

Great job.

Are these allowed to be in commercial games?

Also, can you retexture them or tell me how so it matches the grass?
