Hi, I bet you get this question alot but please can you spare the time to read my requirements and recommend a 3D animation tool and world modeler

I've been using DeleD Lite for a while now and feel like moving up to something bigger and better as I can seem to do animation or lightmapping and I have glue to limb problems with it.

I want minimum of fuss in getting the models into Dark Basic Pro so I dont want to export straight to .X or somthing else supported in DBP. I can pay around £50 for each tool or £100 for a single tool so dont recommend 3D Studio Max @ £2000!

I'd also like to buy models from [href]www.daz3d.com[/href] and reduce polygons and possibly reskin them.

From what I've read in the forums I was thinking Milkshake & 3D World Studio but what do you think will these do what I'm looking for?

Thanx

why not get Blender3d? Its free and you have a modeler, animator and world-editor!
Gamespace etc

BTW,You can look yourself, try the demos and decide what fits best to you.
Look at this thread : http://www.coniserver.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/469119/an/0/page/0#469119

its a list of the most used programs at time
BTW,Instead of buying some models that you would have to reskin and deform(if some needed) i would get poser, were you can change a model to fits your needs and later with some polygon reducer get some polygons out
hope i could help.

Thanx for the info I'll take a look at Blender and all in one package sounds nice.

I was just looking at the 3D Canvas Pro forum and everyone just talks about bugs. Has anyone got experience of it is it realy bad?

OMG tested Blender and it looks like it can do everything but OMG what a crap user interface it gona take me ages to figure it out.
