DLL Talk / BlueGUI: Scancode with treeviews

I am trying to remove the selected treeview item from a list using the delete key. Im doing this by using the scancode() command.

For some reason it doesn't seem to work. Im not sure why. Is there a special way of doing this using BlueGUI? Or does it not work at all?

After looking through the source of Rainbow, i have figured out how to get it working, using eventType()=KEYDOWN and eventData()=0x2E.
