Are you going to release the latest Beta to the public or does it still require testing and more betas?

Thanks,

Ben

BETA = DBDN.
FINAL = You and me.
LEE = Tired of doing what we want and releasing things early then having us moan when they dont work because ... they where released early.

I wouldn't be surprised, if the BETA went into 8 or even 9 or 10!

Last I read it was going to 4.7

All well and good, as it's been stated many times before,
squash as many bugs as possible - I'm sure even by doing
this, there will be small crops of "baby bugs" to eradicate!

Through these difficult times, we need to hold true and fast
hang on to the sound design as programmers, we have given
our talents to produce "error free" code for the demanding
public!

I'd like for Lee to answer the question. I did specifically ask him.

Thanks,

Ben

BHoltzman, do you want Mr Lee Bamber to answer your questions or develop DB Pro? you can't have it both ways!! if he answers your questions he will have to do it for many others, so let the man work and stop acting like a spoilt child who can't get his own way

Xoid, I asked Lee not you. It takes 30 seconds to answer a simple question like this. And it's also none of your business if I want Lee to answer a question. So far I've received 2 rude replies and one not so rude answer. None of them are form the person I've asked the question to and none of them give me the answer I asked for. So if anyone else wants to try to change the subject then save yourself the effort. I just have one simple question for this post and I just want the answer to that one simple question. That's it, nothing more, nothing less.

From,

Ben

Edit: My God Did I attack anyone's behavior here? I don't think so. So quite finding fault with me for asking a simple question!

Well since this is a forum and anyone can reply to a thread, if you want to direct a question at Lee might I suggest you E-Mail him?

lol, I don't think lee even visits these boards. We rarely saw him before DBDN, now he spends all his time there I assume. I know, it sounds like I am jealous or something, but it is really rediculous that for something as simple as this question cannot get a good reply from Lee unless your paying for DBDN.
Oh well, that's Lee's business, he doesn't have to answer or even visit these boards, but I think (IMHO) you are being rude. Sure, it's easy for him to answer this question, but it's easy for someone else to answer the question! There are so many posts on this, look at one and your question is answered. Your wasting forum space and you want to waste Lee's precious 30 seconds for a question that almost anyone here can answer, the same answer Lee would give!

Lee does give a good reply, but you have to email him, and normally he replies within a day or two.

Feel privileged that the creator of this kind of masterpiece would even waste his time talking to people like us who (well, allow me to speak for myself) don't have a clue about high-level profy stuff like C++.

correct me if I'm wrong BHoltzman, you should really be asking Rich the question, Rich is the administrator on the boards. I know you WANT to know like many other people do, but, alas, you must have patience and wait, you shouldn't try and rush people, they not like that

ok, so you may think that it's just a simple question that could be answered in 30 seconds, what if EVERY member on the boards asked different questions, and they said the same as you,

"It takes 30 seconds to answer a simple question like this"

it would take Lee quite awhile to answer them all, so what will it be? receive an answer in 30 seconds or allow Lee to have 30 seconds extra coding a badass piece of software?

remember: You can't have it both ways LOL

anyway, don't take offence, I'm only sayin, cheer up

If you're not Lee then this question wasn't sent to you. So regardless of what you want to ask me, this is the wrong post to ask it in. The post was to Lee and no one else. And now that I've e-mailed him this whole thread is a moot point. Those of you who are attacking me, Stop It! I didn't attack any of you!

I'm not going to waist my time with this post anymore. Any replies to me will not even be viewed by me.

Ben

Bargain, I'll lock this thread then.

(Lee is signed-up to the forum btw and does reply sometimes, but not to this one because the answer is obvious - DBPro betas are for DBDN release only, end of story).

Cheers,

Rich
