They make me mad because they leave a gap etween theirselves and the wall. Can you fix them?

That's easily fixed. Place the door and when the gap appears, choose the segment from the segments library that used to be there. Now press m and the wall only placement arrow appears. Press r until the arrouw faces the door and place the wall. Now the gap will be gone.
