Don't understand the question ... as long as your skybox is totally within your camera range, you won't get tearing.

Sorry, Just leanring the system. I got lot of tearing of the video, has something to do with the dbBackdropOff(); commenting the line out prevents the tearing but leaves a big blue spot where the tearing is at.. mostly seams to be when I am moving the camera around.

The blue, seams to be a max visible distance. It cutting off the edges until the skybox moves into it.

Alright the Blue is the color outside the skybox, so at a certain size the you are looking throug the skybox..

I got a about a size of a skybox 2500,2500,2500 with no tearing (or seing through it).. was hoping for biggger!.....

Partly, part of the discovery proccess I like to think. This way the reader gets to see how I may have come to the conclusion of the problem that I had it may help them as well if they have similar problem (and I like to have the last post ). It might spark up some conversation for ideas and such as well. I hope I am not driving you folks to crazy.

I like what I got done sofar in the last 3 days. Got the compiler working, sdk installed and covering ground on the space shooter. The prototype to bigger things so to speak.

The size of your skybox should not matter, because you should be using the disable object zread 'objNum' (still undocumented I think). Depending on the order of your image id's, the skybox should be drawn BEHIND everything else, thus the size doesnt matter.

All you need is zeal
