Back when I though I could learn C++ in a day because of my superior StarDraft(an old Starcraft modding program thing) skillz, so I downloaded something called Genesis3D(a 3D Software-Devolpment-Kit running off of C++). Recently I remembered it had a .BSP Editor/Creator called GEdit with it.

So download G3D and get it with a few other resources here-
http://sourceforge.net/projects/genesis3d/

Hope you guys can use it for DarkBasicPro!

I don't know. Never heard of Hammer. I don't have DBPro(yet), just Classic, so I have not looked into .BSP stuff much.

I believe Hammer is free but you're not entitled to use levels made with it on anything but the original game engine.

I think thats a bunch of balogna. How would they prove the level is made in strictly valve hammer editor? I dunno you might be right but that makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, they cannot prove it and, at the end of the day you can use it for whatever. But it's the same thing than using a pirate copy of Photoshop to do a texture: you can't say it was produced illegally by looking at the jpeg...

... But, if Valve were to raid a developer's office and find no level editor in the developer's machines other than Hammer, they _could_ sue the dev house for breaking the usage agreement...

Same thing as using GPL code in a closed commercial product, etc etc
