They will be for my wip Blast and Smash

They will need to be:

Medium poly

Not weirdly shaped

Please post here with a screen and a download for the model, and I will tell you who's one I chose.

Maybe some people will be interested in helping you, but just in case, I'd like to direct your attention to the sticky post at the top of this board - This One. Please read part three, where it says that team requests are not welcome, and that credit in your game means squat unless it's going to sell millions.

Ta.

Here we go again, another smarty-pance coming around and telling people what to do. This is not a team request, it's a model request, and it's in the right board. Welcome or not, he has the right to post here.

Sorry, I didn't intend to be the token 'Smarty-Pants'. I'd just hoped to point out the sticky at the top, and hopefully before someone else did. As I mentioned, "Maybe some people will be interested" - and I didn't tell anyone what to do.

Good luck to Benji anyway.

It's ok. I just get annoyed sometimes by people like that. Sorry I blew my top.

Benji, it's finished. I'll send it to ya via email maybe, to prevent people from stealing it.

It will look better with a texture.

EDIT: hold on, I fixed a problem with it (less squarish):

Hmmm...I held a spaceship contests where some participants actually posted their models, I'll give you a link to the two threads, but I must emphasise that you MUST ask the modeller who made those models to use them before doing so. However not every participant posted the model itself and I got in the neck with one of the participants because of it

the Work in progresses thread;

And the finals

@Uncle sam, I think you have made a misinterpretation, she was pointing out certian points to consider, however considering the fact that there are people who will be interested, sometimes a smiley is a good tool to look at when looking at peoples emotions when time
Anyway, can be confusing with all these people that actually do come around with smarty-pants comments.

Thanks Sepp. Like I said, I was just angry. Sorry again Tinkergirl.

I'm not sure it could win a contest though. Maybe I will enter.

Surely you can be more optimistic, not everyone wins because of being the one standing above all the other modellers, plus winning is more of a target and not the purpose, the purpose is to improve yourself through competing.

But would be interesting to see you enter one, could do with even more participants

Never post when angry lol, done it plenty and got flamed, so now I tend to post when more mellowed out

Well, I made it, but if he's using it in his game, then he might not want me to use it in the contest.

EDITT: I guess I don't need his permission. I"ll see if I can find time to post it.

Benji, you might want to check out DoGA CGA. It was almost purpose built to make spacecraft and other mecha. It's fairly easy to take DoGA designs and export them to Metasequoia or Milkshape for converting to an optimized game mesh as well.

You can find a tutorial to that end on my DoGA support page at http://www.virmin.com/doga
