Deep paint 3d. Also lets you paint your models in real time, then produces a texture and uvw maps the object when you save it.

I have made a modle with milkshape and unwraped it with Lith unwrap
but when i went to open it with a demo of paint shop pro it said it could not reconise the file type

You have to export the UV Map as a Bitmap from Lithunwrap. Go to File (I'm assuming this), then find export, then click on UVs or UV Map. Save it as a 1024x1024 (my preference) .bmp. Then open the .bmp in PSP.

i dont export the UV map when i want to texture, i use the cheap and easy way, screenprint the UV editor, and dump it in photoshop

Jon, this might make you happy. Download textporter from here: http://www.cuneytozdas.com/software/3dsmax/

When you install the plugin, it will show up inthe tools. Just click show more, and pick textporter. It will render the uvs so you can save the file and edit it. Its better than screen dumping the uv editor and deleting the grid.
