Do you need a program for making HUDs? Or do you just have to edit the code of FPS? I need a tutorial or somthing so I can get a partialy transparent HUD for my game. Can you make them in Photoshop or is there more to it then that?

Please don't link to the PSP7 tutorial, I didn't understand it.

just make an image and when u build the game load it up as 1 of the huds

Doom,where the sanest place is behind a trigger.

But how do I install the image, place the image, get the text inside the hud, and change the text font.
