Ted can now export large single terrain meshes or as cullable blocks. Props can also be exported to 1 big X file, OR .epr (db loader comming soon). With the epr system you can use ted as a wrap around and positioner for your favorite 3d software (ws, cs, 3dmx etc) complete with custom properties.

nice stuff, I might consider buying this at some point, however C4D can achieve similar results except the texturing part is a pain unlike Ted

Nice and all, but personally, I have a pita of a time importing and placing the models/meshes. Can see them in the list when I import then placing has yet to work for me.

I agree, i can model terrains my self easily..though as seppuku said, texturing is..well hard..at least harder then in TED.

vue 5 produces much nicer looking terrains with fantastic foliage and other natural objects. much more expensive though t.eds texturing is pretty good.

And creates polygon counts up to the billions....but are only really rendered to that detail
