This has been sitting in my room for a while so I have decided to model it
This is very early, the scope isn't made yet, and the base is still lacking a lot of detail.

That looks really nice. Pretty high detail though...how many polys so far, and what program are you using?

Thanks for the comments both
Yes I'm going for hi-detail in this model, and also yes I'm still using blender :p
It is now 12k polies lol. The model is pretty much finished, unless anyone has any changes to make to it. The shaders really don't look very good yet so i still have to work on those.

Nice, just a bit off topic dude, do you use any referance images for your mech (if you have, I'd be interested in asking for them ), I am thinking of modelling a scene based around the CGtalk competition theme (And will probaly enter it if I think its got the slimmist chance of getting a prize)

I used this picture just to get the basic shape in mind, but I had no front-side refs.

Nice, but i don't think you'll be able to see the moon in a room with no windows

I love all the detail you put in those, and it kinda looks cool with the legs when there still non-smoothed, but just when it was untextured. But dang it looks good

Lol, thanks. I kinda liked the unsmoothed untextured as well, but maybe it will get better once I learn how to make shaders a little more realistic.

Maybe once I do that I'll put it in a real scene with a window.
