Instead of just doing a brown texture, use wood. It would look a lot better.

Right, it's easy to cut up textures in photoshop and put them where you want.

Figured I'd give my own thread a bump.I retextured the first two models and even though they aren't the greatest you have to admit the rolling pin looks decent. If anyone is interested in any of my models (I have made 10 or 15.I have lost count) let me know.
Any models I make are for commercial or non commercial use only.
You can give me credit if you want to but it isn't required.
I have made the above models plus:
a space ship
a cigarette
a pizza
and some others.

Nice. Very good for a first model. My first models were... I have no clue. But I don't think they were textured. Though those are relatively simple, the very fact that they look impressively like their real-life namesake is a huge plus. Good Job! Most people don't start out that good, the common first model is cubes, cylinders, and spheres.

You probably already now all this, but It’s always good to see more people with a natural talent for modeling.

Thank you.
It's not as easy as it looks.
Sometimes I can spend hours on making a model and not like it and just quit and start a different one.
Modeling has given me a new appreciation and understanding about what my fellow devlopers have to go through to make models.
