As i promised when i needed to quit FFVII project i gonna make new rpg.. And i am started it 2 days ago here what i got on progress..
I make the engine first and then i make the story duh =D

The Draw models are just replacement when time comes i or D-Eagle make own models..



Here is my and D-Eagle Team logo lol.. The "DW" meand Dark Wind's



Here is Nice Alpha effect when battle starts oh.. My battle uses ASB system no Turn battle (ASB is Active Time System so if metter is full your turn comes)

Yet another RPG using Psionic's dwarf model, ay? Nothing to comment on so far, except for it looks like the camera fov got screwed up (look at the trees)

Lol.. The trees leafs dont have textures and other and i dont even use that terrain on final project its just replacement too..

So...I see some tree's, with a character model in an open field...

Not to be mean or anything, but was this really ready for a W.I.P. post? Just by looking at the pictures it looks like 5 minutes worth of work. In fact, at this stage I can't say I even expect you to finish the project. Many people start many projects but very few of them finish, just by posting and showing enthusiasm after this much work, it's looking like you don't quite understand all the work needed to create a full game that people would be willing to play. Now im sure you have the ability to make a great game, but maybe you should make a bit more progress before trying to rally up some support?

Sorry if that came off harsh, just tellng you what I see.

Hey dude, I see you got this into the WIP boards now, the trees don't look too good.

One thing I do suggest is get a new grass texture and scale it right down, so it fits in scale with the size of the dwarfs (At the moment they feel like they are the size of pixies, and it will look better too) However it looks like a good start, perhaps we could see some original modelling a bit later on (As like me you are using old dwarfy as a placeholder I guess)

I would suggest some more scenery as well

Looks pretty good for two days worth of work, but I recommend using untextured primitives or the like for the bare bones engine. That seems to be the only way to get people to stop commenting on the graphics, no matter how obvious it is that they're placeholders.

However, it does look like you've gotten a good amount done on the battle system, although I can’t really tell without any hud...

Could you tell us a bit about the game, like a basic overview? That would be really helpful, as I don't see any need to comment on your placeholders.

Yea i make the "HUD" today and i make the first world too.. lol
I have made lot of functions on myu main source so i have easy to make my game... I have waypoint system func , Text func, Save func, Npc placement func , etc

And now i start to make models and other graphics

If this is dbc, bone animations wont work... in dbc every limb must be a seperate object to animate.

hmmm I've heard people have problems with Panda over and over, however, one solution maybe to Triangulate the model before export, from what I've seen that sorts out some Panda problems

Because I've been known as seppuku in many places ever since I lost the name 'Omega' back when I was using The Games Factory, and so after 3 years of having been known as seppuku on the net I thought I would at least change it on one site as its beginning to bore me

Like I said on MSN the first image looks a bit like Sora and the second shows resemblance to Cloud, you have got the face modelling quite well, its just the rest that needs improving... (I guess I'll show you quick way for better hair )
