Unforunatly one has never been made. I also believe Adobe (The owner of Macromedia) will not be supporting DDS since their other Imageing product's do support it. Best bet would be to grab Photoshop and use that with the Nvidia DDS plugin that's over at the Nvidia developer site.

You can download DDS converter.It will change most image files back and forth.Then you can switch it to whatever format to go in your app and then back to a dds when you are done.

Thankz . im using fireworks just because that what they are using in my web development class .

Excellent bit of software, I have it in Studio 8. I like Photoshop more though which is why I usally dont touch Fireworks. I strongly suggest you try out the DDS converter or grab Photoshop, espically since you mentioned you do a web development class (Wouldent be the Web Dev Course on Dreamweaver by any chance? or something along those lines.)

half of the semester we work on fireworks , then the other half dreemweaver , this friday is last day on fireworks .
