Can someone tell me what file type they used to make a successful bone animation to work in DBPro. I have only seen limb objects working on mine. Any other gives me an error.

I'm having this problem also. I've managed to get the bones animated, but not the mesh attached to the bones! I thought this was all sorted with Patch 4 but as yet I've not got it working so maybe someone who was involved in the beta testings could clarify whther this was something being addressed?

Or even better, if someone has a working skinnned animated model using bones or biped in Max, please present yourself!

3dmax 5 with physique, the latest version of panda x exporter (the one thats just come out is perfect if u compile models in compressed binary format and it supports physique and max skinning).

3dcanvas is aright too and milkshape (I havent tried them though)

DO NOT export to 3ds then convert cause 3ds is total crap. Export directly to .x if possible

.3ds is a good format, but it certainly doesn't support bones - last time I tried that I ended up with the bones being part of my object which created some mild amusement on my part considering I was playing with a skeleton model

I've seen some message threads suggest .mdl for bones which is a Halflife format, however i've not personally experimented with this.
