I'm only using him in FPSC. Smooth may not be the correct expression, blocky would be better. IMO, this character is way to blocky to be even considered as human. Humans aren't blocks, they're organic and the rounded features humans do have are unfortunally missing.

When placing him next to some of the other FPSC included characters and others I do own. he's really not fitting in at all, he really looks from another world.

I have tried exporting models using those Panda settings and I have never been able to get any of my models to work with FPSC.

ok, i used those settings, and i got it ingame, only to find that it is completely black (no texture) and the aniamtions are messed up, even though i couldnt see the model properly, it looked kinda smooth, but thats probably just because of the black texture so lighting doesnt make the polygons show up...

Here's the screenshot from within FPSC. Just compare the 2 models. The scientist is completely blocky and had unhuman features, the other character (the specialist) really looks like a human. All of the FPSC original (and other characters I've got) look more like the specialist.

You just couldn't use bith of them together in a game, the scientist would really look out of place.

Sure does and with some more practise it may turn out excellent. Doing characters is though, I never quit manage to get them right.

Which ones? The ones of the your own character?

I have'nt read all this thread but if you want a smooth model make sure all vertices are welded on exporting.
If I'm on the wrong track disregard

I made the texture a bit lighten. Tell me, what you think about it. As you can see after download that it's not much difrent than the orginal.

thanks for the entity files benjamin

i applied a smooth modifier (a smalla mount) to the model before exporting, so i think theres no need for any vertices being welded.

i'll have to test that texture samuli, looks a bit different.

Jon, you will need to change the animation keys in the panda exporter, after you set every thing to 25 fps. I think I got my animations working right, but I cant tell, I get the spiky mesh. If you know how to fix the spiky thing, let me know.
