Liz, post us some naked photos then . Maybe Jon can run off with them and sell them on ebay, earn enough to buy x20 3DWS's.

Your sexy liz!

@Jon

Why dont you make a paypal button, so that people can click and pay that way, you will also get people paying who dont have paypal too, because thy let you pay with your crad, without using a paypal account.

lol, dont take this personally, but ive never seen a "hot" girl who uses computers to this extent, most around my area, only know how to use MSN messenger, not create games or program

good for you

anyway, back on subject, 3DWS, or "3D World Studio" is a level building tool, with great lightmapping and terrain support, from examples ive seen, its brilliant, and can render lighting and scenes of UnrealEd quality

but im not the one to give info on it, read it up on the TGC website if you want

EDIT:

lol, weird drink... im pretty sure thats the halo font on the side, and im working on the paypal button, its just ive never done one before, except the donate button, but im reading up now

Jon, if you have ever used Radiant to make quake maps, then you will be at home with 3dws. I downloaded the demo and I think its just like Radiant. But personally, Iam sticking with 3d max to make my games with.

yeh, im using max, but it doesnt have the lightmapping feature (or atleast i dont think so) nor terrain generation, but i just use it for the small things and objects like the interactive things of the game, not really the geometry.

ive never used radiant, is it free? ive downloaded the demo of 3DWS and got to know the UI, its exactly like cartography shop, lol, why didnt josh just carry on calling it that? anyway, im loving it right now and i really want to learn it in depth and make some cool levels.

ive also got UnrealED, bu that comes with UT2004 and its better, which leads me to the point why 3DWS must be so expensive? i havnt tried unrealEd, only small attempts creating boxes, i wouldnt midn learning that actually, because some of the screens ive seen are simply fantastic.

Yes, radiant is free, but its only for making maps for quake engine games. The link is: http://www.qeradiant.com/

Also, if you want to use radiant for fun, download enemy territory: http://enemy-territory.4players.de:1041/modules.php?name=files

jesus christ that game looks amazing, i hate it sometimes, when you look at new games, it really "discourages" me an makes me think i'll never be able to create a game or graphics like that, lol, but then soon i get over it

i might check out radiant, but why only quake engine games?

When I sold my pack, I didnt use any thing special. I just let people buy through my paypal button, then I sent them e mails with cd keys and download links as soon as I had the payment. So they had the pack within 10-30 minutes of paying.

I think you can set up paypal with php if you know how. So when some one buys your pack, the php sends out the file.

it has the texture varistion, so when placing the beds, when you decide you want a bloody bed, just go on the properties of that object, then change the texture to the bloody one

i have added a paypal button on my website, in the solutions section, which also means people without paypal can purchase with credit cards

anyway, enough about whos born when and where and this and that, has anybody considered buying the pack? i know its only the first day (i think) of releasing it.

im thinking about making an animated weapons pack after this, if this goes succesful, i already have alot of weapons made beforehand, which i could put to use
