Signs III will cost $10.00 and it's ready to go.

Signs II will continue to be free. and can be downloaded
from www.fpscOnline.com.

Signs III has many new features such as transparent
Images, ability to use a webcam, a new size called Huge, archs
for the walls section with a 3D preview window to name a few.

For all the support and suggestions from many of you here
at the forum, I have decided to do two things for the community.

1. Create a contest where 3 forum users will win a free copy of Signs III.

2. I currently have a donate button on [href]www.fpsconline.com[/href], all users that donate $2.00 or more will receive a full copy of Signs III. This is a special offer and starts now and ends two weeks after the contest winners are announced. After that the cost for Signs III will be $10.00.


Contest:
What did you create using Signs II?

Contest RUles:
1. You must use Signs version 2.x to create your entry.
2. You must submit an in game screen shot to fpscuser@gmail.com.
3. Your entries must be posted by April 28th.
4. I will announce the winners in this forum post on May 1st.
5. By submitting an entry you agree that I can use your submitted image anyway I choose.

Note: Signs III will not be available for download until May 1st when the winners are announced. I will release a watermarked version prior to releasing Signs III.

Create Pictures, Signs, Walls, Rooms, etc.. Using Signs II.

Place what you have created using Signs into FPSC and take a snapshot. Send that image to fpscuser@gmail.com. You can send in multiple images if you want.

Original artwork always rates high with me. I do not have any rules. This is more about creativity and what you have or will create using signs.

For anybody that did not know you can take a snapshot inside
FPSC by pressing the F12 key. Your image should be saved in
the FPSC directory as a .BMP file.

Cool news! As you know, I've been using signs from the beginning and I just love it, version 2 rocks and I'm certain version 3 will be even better. For creating signs there's no better and more time saving application.

I normally do not touch the other stuff included (like walls & floors), but for this competition I will and try to create a stunning entry..... as every one else will

You do not need to send a screenshot if you donate $2.00 or more. If you donate you will get a copy of Signs III on May 1st.


The contest is for anybody that would like a chance to win a free copy without having to donate or purchase.

Tschwarz i have just donated 2.00 GBP instead of dollars is that ok. which is around 3.50 USD anyways.

To anyone that has not made a donation:

I'm making game with FPSC and SignsII. It's called Nuke Dukem 3D.
I take screenshots from Duke Nukem 3D High Resolution Pack textures. So I can copy walls, floors, sings and allmost EVERYTHING and make them working in FPSC with Signs. If you don't know what High Resolution Pack is I can send some screenshots later.

entry 2 looks nice, i completely forgot about this, i forgot to make something for it

i made a couple segments a while back, but im having trouble with some transparent specs in the texture

EDIT:
no wait...that was MagicFPS i'll see what i can make quickly and add some corepak entities for extra 'mood'

I just got my copy of Signs III.Tschwarz,you have outdone yourself.
Being able to make walls as entities will stop all those posts I keep reading about exploding walls.Live webcam functions and overlays.Everyone ought to buy this.I am going to have loads of fun playing with this.Thanks!

When I got home I did have a mail telling me I'm one of the winners

Downloaded it straight away and I love it! Rounded walls, really cool! Arches, excellent! More sign types, wonderful!

As with signs 1 & 2, Signs 3 is just excellent. looking forward to seeing this application develop even further over time.

I was skeptical about the necessity of the webcam option, but it turned out to be a fun tool which I love to play with. If anyone is considering buying this product, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to see what new toys are in the next version. I think its a good tool to have, even in conjunction with MagicFPS.

Two words for you...
exploding walls...
make your wall an entity.
Change the destroy script to disappear1.
Change the strength to any number besides 0.The higher the number the more firepower it will take to destroy the wall.
Set "is explodable" to yes.
Watch the wall explode when you shoot it!

ak470000 - To see just how much fun the cam feature is download this image and put it in the VideoOverlay directory. Click on overlay inside signs and select this image. Be sure to set the color to magenta.

Thanks a bunch, tschwarz... I like how the cam allows for quick trial-and-error ideas. Like I had a newspaper laying next to me, and in three minutes using the webcam capture and floor sign options, I was able to put this newspaper in game with minimal effort.

Send out a new update version 3.0.2 of signs III to everyone that donated. I grouped the email to the BC field, Says it went out but I got 12 email to my seed account so I really don't think the email went out properly. Oh Well I Tried, If anyone didn't get it just let me know and I will resend the email links. And if anybody got 30 or more in their email box (I apologize).
