I posted on this last night and got no help! I need to uninstall DBP to do a clean install for patch 4 but can't find an unstall on the disk and if I try to unstall from control panel add remove programs I get an error

The process can not access the file because it is being used by another process

I have nothing running that can get involved with this. Can anyone help with this? I did get this done with patch 3.1 but don't remember how I did it!!!

OK I'm STUPID!!! You have to open up my computer click on cd rom drive and run setup from there

Try booting into safe mode and uninstalling from there.

They should have put an unstall option in so when you click start and go to DBP and it comes up there. When I patch DBP I like to do an uninstall and reinstall.

When I patched 3.1 I didn't do that and had problems!

Hi,

I was having the same problems with uninstalling DBPro. I e-mailed rich and he told me to delete the Dark Basic Software folder and then Delete all of your files in temp.(C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp)
then download patch 3.1.

This works just like uninstalling.
