This is a game I made in just about three days. It isn't the most complicated game, but it requires a little practise to understand.

It's a ball game, and the main thing you are to do is to throw a ball and hit as many cube as possible lined up in front of the ball. There are three game types. More about these in the game.

I've also included two .exe-files. These are just different languages, swedish and english.

Well. Have fun. Feel free to post some comments aswell!

This game is really nice, and fun! And I have to say, it was very unlike anything I have ever tried before. There's a few things that could be improved:

In the English version, most of the in-game text is still Swedish. Luckily, I can easily read it(I'm from Denmark).

It is possible to throw the ball so hard, that when it comes back down a few minutes later, it just falls through the boxes, no collision is detected.

In the beginning of the game, where the ball is on that platform and you can move it up and down, it is possible to move the ball too far away, and it tells you that you hit 0 cubes(or got 0 points and so on...).

But as I said, really nice(and different!) game! Nice work!

I'm glad you like it! I really am!

The text error is a minor mistake, that can be fixed in no time.

The secong thing you mention, were the boll doesn't detect a collision, is a little more difficult. Since the ball is moving as fast at it does, it isn't inside a cube as it moves. If a cube is 100 in size, and the ball moves at a speed of 200, it's obvious it isn't going to be placed inside the cube, which is cinsidered a collision.
I'll see what I can do.

I don't think I quite understand what you mean here at the third thing. I'll look it up tomorrow, because now I have to sleep. I'll try to fix the last bugs by tomorrow, or the day after.

I'm still very glad you liked it, though

Hey. cool game. and good idea!
only problem i had where: if you throw the ball high in air, you get game over for some reson. maby the same bug klu007 had.
anyway cool game.

maby a fun thing would be to make a wall, at the end position off the last cube, so if the ball is thrown hard enough it bounces back again(just an idea ).

sorry for my bad english typing, hope you understand

Still a noob. easy comes easy goes

Good idea, Raven. I've edited my first post now. Thanks!

@Coder#05
That bugged is now fixed. I'm testing the game a little further for other bugs right now, but I think I'll have the updated version uploaded tonight!
And about that wall-thing... It's already done in the current version that's uploaded. Only the so called "wall" isn't visible.

And about the text error: I just saw that I mixed up the to versions while translating it. The text that's swedish in the english version are in english in the swedish version

*EDIT*
Ok, I'll hope this version is alot better than the first one. I didn't bother to make anything about the collision part were the collision isn't detected, but I'll see what I do tomorrow. Once again, it's late and I got to sleep
Sleep tight you yee all!

The download system is very confusing, you could use something like freewebs or orther free hosting service.

The idea was realy unique, It had also unique gameplay.
It was confusing at the beginning becouse you didnt see the cubes, This was the first game where I had to read the helpfile

Some suggestions:
Limit to the balls altitude, bar showing the current power, Camera pointing at the cubes and some colors

Jättebra
pst. use press image button (top of the "Post forum message"), type images url and press it again, not looks like avatars or signatures.

Thanks! That's very nice comments you've got there!

Hmm... The things you mentioned there aswell should be obviuos. Strange that I haven't thought about them. Things as the cubes isn't in view, an altitude limit and bars showing different variables as the power and altitude, plus more choises - some more difficult to fix than others. I think I'll manage to fix some of them. However, I think I'll fix some of them.
As for colors, I don't know. I think that the black'n white theme was kinda nice. It feels like some kind of bottom less hole-thing

Yees, that is another bug that I've fixed. I discovered it when I showed the game to my teacher, who by the way laughted loudly and happily. I'm now on a dial-up internet, but as soon as I get a hold of broadband at my mom's house, I'll upload the 1.2-version. Even though I donät think anyone will download ut
