I'm posting this again(third time now I think). I'd have used my old thread/s but I am using this thread in a different angle. While it will hold updates, it is also going to be highly informational as far as the developement of 3D United goes. This will also be the thread for suggestions, comments, and any issues you may be having with the site(please keep the uglyness of the site comments to a minimum ) Well, here's how things are so far:

3D United Progress:

-3 Tutorials(one may not be uploaded, will check)
-A 3D Models Section containing one of my swords
-A message board
**Not a whole lot else, I do have some projects on my computer going, but won't post or say much else about them until more progress is made**

3D United To Come:

-More 3D Models for download(could be a while)
-Updated Message Board
-At least another tutorial or two
-Whatever Seppuku Arts happens to come up with*
-Maybe some of the suggestions that arise here.

*Seppuku Arts is now helping me out with this as he can

Well, that's about it for now. Post away...

The sword image isn't supposed to be upside down. I noticed it a while ago...just a matter of fixing it. And about the Hand Tutorial, I'm not sure if and or when I might be changing it. I do however, have a simple airship tutorial to upload. I might also do some Wings 3D Tools tutorials, as wherever I look, these seem rare. I am actually going to start working on a Wings 3D UV tutorial before I really do much else. The site is really growing with me, as all of the tutorials were made a day or two after I managed to make the models that the tutorials are based around. Hopefully I can get comfortable enough with Wings 3D that I can push out some humanoid tutorials, but these are especially hard for me, largely I think because there is no vert by vert modeling options available in W3D. I plan for this to be a long term personal project, and when I get the money, I plan to purchase an actual .com domain for it. I'll keep everyone posted here.

I'll write you some maya tutorials if you want. I was planning to anyway. Not that hardly anyone uses Maya ...

Threw this tutorial together last night on modelling a hand, its still a bit of a WIP but its complete and ready to use as is, not sure if its what you're looking for but feel free to include it on your site (Its for Wings3D and I noticed you already had a hand modelling tutorial so I can see how that would be a bit weird), either way here's the link to the post with the rar and zip downloads;

Site's lookin good so far, keep up the good work.

Any tutorials you guys here want to donate to the site will be taken in to great consideration, and probably 99% will *eventually* be converted to html and all that good cheese so that I can put it up on the site. All tutorials will have credit noted to the person who made it.

@RUCCUS: Oh, and your hand is much much prettier than mine...

OK, now, I've got 3 models in the works for download at 3DU, but I gotta upload them tonight when I get online at home. I also have a new tutorial to upload, and here's where the point of this post comes in.

Being that 3DU is mainly a tutorial/informational website, what tutorials would be useful there? I had someone offer to make a humanoid tutorial, and that's all I've heard, so humanoid tut's can wait. Ideas?

3D United is temporarily put on hold by myself. I could explain it...but I'll give the short sweet version: School...
