Any free but good animators out there that are ACTUALLY compatible with DBP?
Anim8or isn't compatible and 3dsmax isn't free, just incase you're wondering

In DBP - 3D is easier than 2D , 2 player is easier than Single player , Dont you think life rocks .. ?

I'm free...whether or not I'm good is up to your opinino, haha sorry, bad joke, I've never heard of any other than Blender, I was looking for a few whilst I had the rigging problem which seemed impossible to fix, which I have fixed now, but if you can spare a measly $20, get milkshape, or one of the non free animators made for low budget folk, but no animator can beat endorphin, shame about its price.

If you're one of the following three, get Maya.
1. A millionaire... (or at least a thousandair)
2. A pirate... (pirating is bad. I do not suggest it )
3. A dude with hook-ups. Get it from a friend.... then, send alias 7k lol

It's not practical for games and stuff but it's just so fun. I know people will flame me saying 'oh, stfu blender's good enough, ect.' but even if you get the PLE maya kicks butt.

oh yeah, about it being compatible with dbp, i've heard it can be done. never gotten it to work myself though...

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

I think that CharacterFx is what you want. It's what I want!!!

But when you say animator, you mean 3D model animations, because Anim8or does work in DB, and DBPro if you want 2D film animation, like an intro movie.

Thanks, I already Have CharacterFX, surprised to see its free. Just not sure how it works...

Ive already sent maaaany requests to maaaany people to try and get me Maya, If they ************** aka know how to get it.

One more thing, in CharacterFX, Whenever I try importing a model, the button does not respond, and neither does the export button (even though 3 dots "..." are seen which means it leads to a new window) while the Open button works. Are there any adjustments or settings that should be done before importing?

Ok, how about Maya? I can make skeletons in it now, but I cant seem to parent (bind) the skeleton to the model itself. Does anyone know how to do that? Also, once you have a model with a skeleton ready, how can you edit keyframes so that each frame features the model in a slightly different pose than in the last frame.

Milkshape isnt free, its 35 bucks or so, but it works.

I tried all the "free" ones and all I got were viruses or some crap that only exports to its own 3d format.

PS. I will buy you Maya, Max whatever you want if your folks are willing to sign a note with 24% interest with their house as collateral....
