<EDIT>

There might've been some confusion, this is a tutorial on creating a hand model, not a download for a model,

I've been working away at the tutorial library to be posted on RUCCUS.net once its back up, and I decided I'd through in a few 3D tutorials as well. I cant link to the site as its down for construction ATM, but if you'd like to download/test the tutorial (with the completed model) click the download button below. The download in this post is a .rar, the next post will contain a .zip.

A few screens of the finished products, customized by other users;

Enjoy, comments/critisism/suggestions welcome. Like I said this is the proto-type, Ill be adding a few more steps to the end for customizing the arm and making a few more verts to add realism, but this is pretty much the jist of it.

Just thought Id bump this up one last time incase people might've missed it, it went down the list pretty fast.

Then again people dont usually like having to download/extract/find files to test so I guess that could be one of the reasons.

Ohwell, this'll be my last (and first) "bump" till the new sites up with a polished version.

Like I said, looking for comments and crit on it for things to explain more/add.

Hmmm...very nice. Now did you want me to include a link to it in my tutorials page, convert the HTML Doc to 3D United friendly, OR leave it be? Because in the 3D United official thread you said I could use it or something to that effect, and I'm making sure I read it right as I tend to make mistakes. (and ramble a lot)

Yeah for now you can upload it to the site and use it as a tutorial if you want, just dont put your name all over it Once I get my site back up Ill be putting it on there, in which case it'd probably be better for you to just link to it as that one will be the one that gets updated + a link uses less bandwidth than an html doc and a tonne of pictures.

So thats a yes, if you want to lol

it wouldn't deform well, and there's some very odd edges and polyflow

I don't have a sig, live with it.

I agree with the first but I didnt notice any strange edges. Ill have a look into it, possibly add in a seperate get ready for deformation tutorial. Thanks for the crit.
