During a test run, This tree model's texture was missing in the final
build. I set the level on the highest texture res, Built it, ran the final build and got this. The texture is there during the test and I'm not using full shaders or anything else. Has anyone had this problem yet?

Most tree packs don't work properly, they are very good in test mode but in Build Game they look like blocky chunks of grey.

Give a man some bullets, and he'll want a gun. Give a man a gun and he'll be giving away the bullets!!

If you made it with Treemagic you might check your FPE file.Or you might check it anyways.
Some of the plant programs don't specify a texture in the FPE file so they look normal in a test run but they are white or grayish when the level is built.
From the way the pic looks that is a good possibility.

I'll check the FPE to be on the safe side. Thank you. If that doesn't work I'll chat with the models owner and see if he had the same problem. It's from one of those Tree packs from the FPSC resource site.

What type of image file are you using? also if the .fpe does not have a texture listed the engine will fall back on the .x file for the texture information. The draw back to this is if the texture is not listed in the .fpe file it will only show textured as a dynamic entity, but if it is listed it will in show either dynamic or static mode. I hope this helped you also you may want to have your texture files either .tga or .dds

For some reason the tga texture is the problem. The engine is rejecting
my tga files and is only picking up jpg and or dds. humm. Sometimes it reads tga and sometimes it crashes. Same thing happends when I use the segment editor. It crashes when I use tga for a texture. Looking into it. To all Silent Hill Fans enjoy the movie and I'll have my review on it by Monday.

I saw the other thread.
While the Silent Hill thing you did was comical Lizzblizz will probably have a stroke when she sees it...lol.
Since the movie doesn't start out like the game I wonder how it will turn out.
Just once I would like to see a movie about a video game stick to the video game's script a little.
