Can you still make bezier curves in blender 2.41? All the tut's I see say its under add-->curve But I dont see that option.

Also are boolean operations possible?

Just press Space>Add>Curve>Bezier Curve
For Boolean, select two objects, making sure that the 'active' object is the one that will have the operation done to it, press W and select "add Intersect, union, or diffence, modifier.'

How can you make an object that you create a seperate object, when I go into object mode everything I made seems to be one object.

I press space>Add and there is no curve option.

That probably means that you are in edit mode. Press TAB to go back to object mode, where you can add different objects.

How can I combine them with objects already made? I mean can I use their verticies to make faces?

You cannot join a curve to a mesh. You can convert a curve to a mesh by pressing option(alt)-c. Then you can join the two meshes with ctrl-j.
