DarkBasic Pro.

Ok i am looking at using sprites but.
The ones i want to use are .spr format basicaly it is all the images for the animation in one file and you have to use a viewer tool to see these files.

Player.spr <------ Has all the images for up,down, left, right movement of the player.

So can this type of file be used in DB Pro? And how would it look in DBP code.

Yes i am new and wanting info to help me complete my first simple game. So that i may become one of the Best

You cant open the file you have to use a sprite viewer to open it.
Then you can see images. Or export them to single .bmp files.
If it has 10 frames then it will export 10 .bmp images or one tile sheet.

But i think it would be nice to just use the .spr file , if it can be done. Instead of having a whole lot of tile sheets.

Anyone know ?

ScreenShot simular to Sprite Viewer tool "This one is Mappy but sprite viewer does this same thing to see the frames."
Simular to Sprite viewer..

export them as single bitmap files, then use a program called "Glue-it" to glue all the bitmaps together into one image strip
